Hello Everyone,

I created this forum over 13 years ago in the hopes it would help me and others become better soccer coaches. It did and I will be every thankful for the advice and help I have received from the forum over the many years. I fondly remember many of the animated discussions and debates on coaching philosophy, the technical aspects of coaching, and about professional soccer. It was very fun and helpful.

I have not been active in the forum for quite some time as I quit coaching last year and have found a new hobby and have been busy with my business. I want this forum to continue to be a great resource for new and experienced coaches for years to come. Therefore, I have decided to merge with USA Soccer Forums. Vin Crispio, who has been a participant in the forum and is part of USA Soccer Forums, will be running this forum as of now. The only thing that will change is he'll be much more active in running the forum and will help make it even better.

I want to thank all who have participated over the years. You, the members, are what made the forum so good and I was glad to provide the platform.

Sincerely,

Greg Marston

Hello Everyone,

We have exciting news to share with the And-Again community.  USA Soccer Forum and And-Again are joining forces in an effort to bring the best quality soccer forum in the nation.

Our purpose for the forum is to give the soccer community (parents, coaches, players, refs) a platform to discuss current issues, share information, receive answers to technical or tactical soccer questions, and provide the community an opportunity to give their opinion on the game we all love.

In the coming weeks we will introduce our new forum platform and merge the site contents under one website.  Our development team is currently working on a new design and we will update everyone as we make progress.  Our goal is to minimize the impact the transition will have on our community.

In the meantime please feel free to continue discussions on And-Again and please feel free to visit http://www.USASoccerForum.com

We are excited about joining forces with And-Again and look forward in providing the same quality platform and support you deserve.

Thank You

Vin Crispino

Yes I can post.

Also a Russian selling his none soccer related crap products can post. He is posting on all different soccer topics. You have to figure out away to stop it or your site is not going to go anywhere.

We had that problem here but Greg figured out a way to,put an end to that.

Thanks for the info MrSoccer, I deleted his post and banned the account he used. I'm going to ask Greg how he was able to stop it.

You just started your site, and those bastards are ruining your site before it even gets off the ground. They are like bed bugs. New ones have taken their place every where.

Looks like another spammer, fortunately it's very easy for me to block them. The new site should do it automatically

Thanks for letting me know

Thanks Greg.  You have done soccer and all of us a great service.  I'm not sure it will be the same.

Greg was great because he allowed us to mention another site on his site when posting.

Other site owners just deleted those posts I hated that which was one reason a lot of us left to come here.

MrS et al...

I migrated to this site from the ashes of the PVV site some 11 years ago because the posters on the PREVIOUS site gave positive reviews.
The other reason I joined is that it wasnt obsessed with making M...O...N...E...Y and WASN'T US biased. I am not convinced this new site will work.

We have all benefited from the site which I personally thank Greg for, and I hope that I was able to help in some way, all those new coaches in their first steps in soccer coaching.

All good things come to an end.
I don't see myself migrating, but I hope Vin retains the archives as they are truly valuable commodities to ANY forum.

Don't worry guys, we're building a new site that is spam proof. The current site doesn't have user account validation enabled, hence the spam. I will take care of that in a few minutes.

In addition, we plan on keeping all the archives and current material. You will be allowed to post links just like today.

All good things due come to an end however, this is a new beginning. The new site will add value to the soccer community with a robust platform we can all use to interact and share information / ideas.

In the mean time, this site will not be touched.

Thanks for voicing your concerns and please continue to do so. We want this to be a positive experience for everyone.

Thank You

Vin

Vin, with all due respect, your start is not convincing me to stay.
To allow spam before you shut the door makes me worry about what other information, any potential hacker could exploit??

Coach Kev

I understand your concerns, please know we are doing our best to stop the spam. At this point that's all it is, some spam that we need to deal with.

At the end of the day were moving to a new platform with greater security and spam control functions.

Vin

I adjusted the security to match what Greg did on this forum. If anything pops up it will get deleted.

Thanks for the update
